Love this David, especially the piece about not waiting. Sometimes I feel like I spend my whole life trying to 'get through' something to get to the next thing. Every now and then I ask myself, what am I racing towards? Death? I'm going to take up your invitation this week and try out not waiting as a practice 😊 And thank you for the yoga nidra shout out here too 🙏
I almost died depressed, but finally could find peace in knowing, sensing, that I always have been complete, yet my idea of becoming someone has blinded me. I can't tell how ridiculous I felt when I realized that I have been fooled by my own mind. Thanks a lot for sharing 🙏🍀 This world needs more of this.
Thanks Patrick ☺️ that’s good to be reminded of that the mind is not to be trusted really. Such a fickle beast. Sounds like you’ve managed to find a home in your sensing heart. 💚💚💚
I love the idea of I’m not waiting, I’ve a very active mind so I don’t find myself bored often. But I do get this feeling of rush and I think that this would help with that too ‘I’m not rushing’.
Thank you David. When we release the grip...I wrote a poem many years ago about releasing the grip...Your post reminds me of that now..who are we when we release the grip? Why did we have to hold on all that time? What does freedom mean?
Maybe it is time to revisit that poem, and maybe share it...
Thank you. Be wonderful if you felt like sharing that poem here. I have a sense that we’re all writing these posts together. Collaborating directly or indirectly. 🙏

Thanks Vicki. 🥰
Alexander teacher Bruce Fertman illuminated the, ‘What if you weren’t waiting?’ question to me in class and it was a lightbulb moment for me too.
He has a lovely book I’m sure you’d love actually- "Teaching by Hand, Learning by Heart"
Thank you for being here and for your openness to contribute. 🙏
I will look out for that book, thanks for the suggestion 👍😊
‘What are you holding? This life of yours…when you open your grip, what’s in your hands?’. What indeed🧐
I love the meditation/confirmation/affirmation “I AM”. It makes me feel more peaceful 💛
Yeah there’s an immediacy to it isn’t there! I’ve noticed that too. 🥰💖💖💖

I did 🍀 yes this beast is only trustable if you're using it consciously 😅
Yes and even then I’m wary 😅😂
Nahhh... I think you can trust your conscious-self a bit more 😅🍀
OK brother I’ll give it a whirl but this is on you Patrick! 😆🫶🏼
😂 I'm sorry, but I can't take it. And if I could, I'd claim the gained wisdom as well!😅🫶🏼

That’s a lovely adaptation Sheila. A lovely check in with yourself I would feel. 🥰
Thanks for the inspiration ☺️
